Prototyping covers the work before a bulk commitment: first articles in 6–10 days, campaign-grade samples photographed for crowdfunding pages, and pilot runs of 1–200 pieces to test the market. Every prototype builds on the same patterns and tech pack discipline as bulk — the difference is quantity, not process — so the path from prototype to production is a straight line, not a restart.

Campaign-Grade for Crowdfunding
Crowdfunded golf products live or die on the campaign page, and the campaign page needs the real product — not renders. Campaign samples are built to final spec, photographed on request in lifestyle and detail shots, and become the production reference when the campaign funds. Timing matters: campaigns fund, then backers wait; we quote the funded order to ship inside the promised window — see startup programs for the sequencing that keeps promises honest.
From Prototype to Production
Because prototypes run on production patterns and a frozen tech pack, the funded or validated order is a bulk run of an existing design, not a re-engineering. The design process is the same nine steps with the prototype as step four. Pilot runs larger than 200 pieces are simply custom programs.

How accurate are prototypes to final bulk?
