What a Golf Bag Tech Pack Contains
The tech pack is the contract between design and production. A complete one specifies: dimensioned drawings per panel, material callouts with codes, divider layout and count, hardware specifications (zipper brand/type, feet, buckles), stitching standards (SPI, thread types, bar-tack positions), branding placements with dimensions, label and packaging positions, and the inspection standard. If you do not have one, our design team builds it with you — the development fee is credited at bulk.
Structural Changes That Need Tooling
Everything else — pockets, straps, proportions, trims — is pattern work, not tooling. The OEM guide covers the full decision path with costs.

Can I take my tech pack to another factory?
Yes. The tech pack is yours; portability is the point of the document. (In practice retooling costs and learning curves follow, but nothing binds you.
What if my design is not manufacturable as drawn?
We DFM (design-for-manufacture) review before quoting: what needs changing, what it costs, what the compromises are. This is a documented step in the process, not an afterthought.
